How-To Guide

How to Set Up Brand Kit in Canva

Configure Canva Brand Kit with your logo, colors, and fonts. Ensure consistent branding across all designs.

How to Set Up Brand Kit in Canva

1

Access Brand Kit settings

Go to the Canva homepage → click your team/profile name → Brand Kit (or Settings → Brand Kit). Free plans get limited brand settings; Pro and Teams get the full Brand Kit.

2

Upload your logo

Upload your logo files (full logo, icon, horizontal/vertical variants). Canva stores them for one-click insertion into any design. Upload in SVG or PNG with transparent background for best results.

3

Define brand colors

Add your primary, secondary, and accent colors using hex codes. Canva saves up to 100 brand colors on Pro. These appear as a dedicated palette in the color picker across all tools.

4

Set brand fonts

Choose heading, subheading, and body fonts. You can use Canva's built-in fonts or upload custom fonts (Pro feature). Set default font sizes and weights for consistency.

Pro tips

  • *

Upload your logo in multiple formats — full color, white (for dark backgrounds), and icon-only versions

  • *

Add your brand's commonly used photos and graphics to the Brand Kit for easy access

  • *

On Teams plans, lock the Brand Kit so only admins can modify brand assets
