How to Resize Designs with Canva Magic Resize
Open your existing design
Open the design you want to resize — typically a social media post that you want to adapt for other platforms.
Click Magic Resize
Go to the top menu and click 'Resize' (or 'Magic Resize' on Pro). Select the target sizes you want — you can choose multiple at once (Instagram Story, Facebook Post, LinkedIn Banner, etc.).
Review and adjust each size
Canva creates a new copy for each selected size. Open each one and adjust the layout — text may need repositioning, and images may need cropping for the new dimensions.
Download all versions
Download each resized version individually, or use 'Download all' for batch export. Each file is named by platform and size for easy identification.
