How-To Guide

How to Connect Integrations in HubSpot

Connect HubSpot to your tech stack. Step-by-step guide to installing integrations from the App Marketplace and configuring data sync.

How to Connect Integrations in HubSpot

1

Browse the App Marketplace

Go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps → 'Visit App Marketplace'. Search for the tool you want to connect — Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Shopify, WordPress, etc.

2

Install the integration

Click 'Install app' and authorize the connection. Most integrations use OAuth — you'll be redirected to sign in to the other tool and grant HubSpot access.

3

Configure data sync settings

After installation, configure which data syncs between systems. Map fields between HubSpot properties and the integration's fields. Choose sync direction: one-way or bidirectional.

4

Test the integration

Create a test record and verify it syncs correctly. Check that field mappings are accurate and that the sync runs at the expected frequency (real-time or periodic).

Pro tips

  • *

Start with high-impact integrations: email (Gmail/Outlook), calendar, and your primary communication tool (Slack/Teams)

  • *

Use HubSpot's Operations Hub for advanced data sync with custom field mappings and data quality rules

  • *

For tools not in the marketplace, use Zapier or Make to create custom integrations without code
